A Mexico man will have to wait another two weeks before finding out his fate after pleading guilty to five charges of sex crimes involving children.
Wesley Cloven, 66, pleaded guilty in Audrain County Court to possession of child sex abuse materials. He was scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday, Jan. 31, but the case has been continued until Feb. 14, because Cloven’s attorney is tied up in another court trial in Adair County.
Cloven was arrested in June of last year and is facing between five and 15 years in prison for each charge.
