Arla L. Baise, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 1, 2023.
On February 19, 1948, Arla was born to the late Stanley Herman Masters and the late Lois Colleen (Harp) Masters.
Arla was united in marriage to William Eugene Baise on January 31, 1986, he preceded her in death on March 27, 2006.
Together they owned Baise Small Engine. Later she was employed by Callaway Bank and then retired from Exchange Bank in 2013. She enjoyed being “Mom”, general manager and statistician to
Beer 30 coed softball team, gambling, Cardinals baseball, Kansas City Chiefs football, and spending time with her family. She was able to do some things on her bucket list like Garth Brooks concert, cruise to Cozumel, Las Vegas and her first and last mani/pedi.
Arla will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Ruth Ann (Gates) Shaw, Melissa Kay (Gates) Norris, and Donna Marie Gates; brother, Tom Masters; grandchildren, Darla McClanahan, Cordale Dzurick, Austin Sloan (Rhianna Todd), Jenna Norris (Luis Gutierrez); great grandchildren, Morgan, Ramsey, and Violet.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Garrett officiating. Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial donations are suggested to be made to the family, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, Mo, 65251.
