Agnes “Annie” Becker, 70, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at her home.
Memorial services will held be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Arnold Funeral Home. Robbie Wright will be officiating the service.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, from 2 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Becker was born on February 5, 1953 in St. Louis, the daughter of Robert and Lucille (Flagg) Gyngard. On Feb 23, 2015 she married Phil Becker who preceded her in death. She completed her associates degree as an LPN while raising her two children. Annie retired from the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics.
Annie loved gardening all her life. Later in life she enjoyed her flower beds at the farm. Annie cherished trail rides with Phil and friends. The sparkle in her eye was her grand-kids, then great-grand kids consumed her smile and put the bounce into her step.
Annie loved to sew. Starting on a treadle sewing machine at a young age. She displayed her mastery of this talent with the construction of both her daughter’s wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer (Kurt) Doolady of Columbia and Elizabeth (Robbie) Wright of Fulton; two grandchildren, Cali (Tony) Solache and Tanner (Jasmine) Herwehe; two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Ellie Solache; one brother, James “Bruce” (Janie) Gyngard.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucille Gyngard and husband, Phil Becker.
