Sharon D. (Bryan) Munford

Sharon D. (Bryan) Munford born February 13, 1943, took her final breaths in this world and joined Jesus on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Originally from the State of California, Sharon married Robert “Bob” Munford and moved to Mexico. Sharon, Bob, and their four children enjoyed their community in Mexico, especially the years they spent working at the Trading Post.

Sharon was creative and loved to paint. Never one to follow the crowd, friends, and family never knew what color hair she might choose next. A voracious reader, Sharon leaves behind many well-loved books. Those who knew her can hardly recall a time when she didn’t have a camera in her hand, snapping candid and nature shots whenever the opportunity presented. Sharon was an avid fisherwoman, and you could often find her on a boat fishing for whatever was biting. Perhaps her love of fishing stemmed from her love of water, as she loved to swim and made many fond memories with her family on a houseboat on Lake Shasta, Calif. Possibly the only thing Sharon loved more than fishing and being in the water was finding a good bargain - you could often find her up early on the weekends mapping out the best garage sale routes. Above all, there was nothing Sharon valued more than spending time with her family.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Bryan, father, Loren Bryan; husband, Robert Munford; and grandchildren, Jordan and Jessica Munford. She is survived by her sisters, Annette (Frank) Arnall, and Lea (Joel) Beem; her brothers, Jim (Dee) Bryan, and Greig (Linda) Bryan; her sons, Don (Carmen) Munford, and Mike (Susan) Munford; her daughters, Sandy (Victor) Shull, and Pat (Odell) Gaw; her grandchildren, Tina (Andrew) Claus, Meghan (Brian) Powell, Amber (Billy) Way, Victoria (Colton) Shull, Erica (Austin) Gillilan; Brittany (Kendall) Munford, Hannah (Buck) Thomas, Hayley Munford, Brent Gaw, and Madison Munford; and her great-grandchildren Matthew, Benjamin, Lydia, Evelyn, Natalie, Avarie, Spencer, Finley, Vaylynn, Skyanna, Ryker, Axl, Zane, Kinser, Kahne, and Octavia.

Funeral arrangements have already taken place.
