Robert Riley Haynes, Jr., 72, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital.
Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Robert was born on Nov. 11, 1949, in Mexico, the son of Robert Riley and Laura “Peggy” Omega (Wayne) Haynes.
Robert was a 1967 graduate of Mexico High School. He served two years in the Army from 1969 – 1971.
He is survived by nieces and nephews, Sheila Haynes (Justin Feger), Shannon Haynes, Andre Lortie, Shevon Lortie and Nathan Lortie all of Mexico; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Haynes and Peggy Haynes; two brothers, Richard Haynes and Michael Haynes; and one sister, Kathy Haynes.
