Mexico Public Schools announces the selection of Shannon Davolt as assistant principal for Mexico High School.

Davolt advances to the assistant principal position from her current role as student success coordinator. As an educator for nine years, She also brings experience as a physical education teacher, athletic director, and ISS teacher.

I am honored to continue building relationships with the students, staff, parents, and community in Mexico,” said Davolt. “I believe it is vital to create a physically, socially, and mentally safe environment where every individual has the opportunity to excel.”

She is married to Eric Davolt, who also teaches in the district. They have four children Izaq, London, Micah, and Boston. The family has three beloved canines. The Davolts enjoy many outdoor activities, including hiking and kayaking.

The district welcomes Davolt into the MHS assistant principal position, effective immediately. She steps into this role formerly held by David Cochrane, who recently accepted a position with North Callaway Schools.
