Kids in the Mexico Optimist Summer League were finally able to play this week.
After three straight days of cancellations due to wet field conditions from rain early this week, a full slate games happened on Thursday at the Optimist ballfields. T-Ball was on the schedule this time, including games between Reading Farms and World Finance and then Buckys Sit or Git and United Credit Union. Mexico Jr Atoms White (The Bank of Missouri) vs Sturgeon Jr Atoms 2 and Mexico Jr Bantams White (Exceptional Roadside Service) vs Sturgeon Jr Bantams 1 were among the other games on the schedule along with Mexico Jr PreTeen Red vs Mexico Jr PreTeen Gray, Mexico Jr Bantams Black vs North Callaway Jr Bantams 2 and Mexico PreTeens Red vs Southern Boone PreTeens Black.
