Lady Panthers begin year with 71-34 win at Moberly

The Centralia girls made it clear 2025 would start how 2024 ended. 

The Class 3 No. 3 Lady Panthers stayed undefeated with a 71-34 win at Moberly on Friday night. Nine players scored, and the starters rested in the fourth quarter that had a running clock. Braylin Brunkhorst led Centralia (8-0) with 22 points and nine rebounds, Ryenn Gordon followed with 16 points and six rebounds, Madi Johnson had nine points and three 3-pointers, and Ealynne Bostick also had nine points. Kyia Tydings led Moberly (2-7) with 12 points and six rebounds, and Olivia Dunwoody followed with 10 points.

Centralia plays at Bowling Green (3-6) at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
