Gweneth Lucille Williams was born on August 26, 1953 in Mexico, to the late Butler Creed and Jean L. (Thomas) Nunnelly, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Arnold Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, from 11:00 a.m.. until time of services at the funeral home.

Gwen was in the class of 1971.  She worked many years as a dietary aide, retiring from Heisinger Bluffs Senior Living Community in Jefferson City.  She was also a foster mother to many children during her time in Jefferson City.  She was a member of Oak Chapel Missionary Baptist church in Guthrie.  She also attended St. Luke UMC In Mexico.  Gwen was the life of the party.  She enjoyed being there to take care of her family, the family she created and touching lives everywhere she went.  Gwen was also a very kindhearted person.

Left to cherish her memories are two sons, Shawn (Summer) Nunnelly and Antonio (Brandi) Williams, Sr. of Mexico; six daughters, April (Michael White) Williams, Stacey Nunnelly and Felicia Toran of Mexico, Sidney Nunnelly and Jennifer Hickman of Jefferson City,  Patricia (Thomas) Ellington of Columbia and a niece of the home Messiah Simpson; 37 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; four sisters, Alice Nunnelly, Lanette Nunnelly and Marylus (Kenneth) Thompson of Mexico and Judy Thomas of Kansas City; six brothers, Rodney Thomas, William (Ruth) Nunnelly, Butler (Myra) Nunnelly, Jr., James (Zeila) Nunnelly, Daniel and Conrad Nunnelly of Mexico, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gerald Nunnelly; four sisters, Marsha Simpson, Tonette Harris-Nunnelly, Jacqueline and Elizabeth Nunnelly; two brothers, Howard and Hakeem Rahim (Chuckie) Nunnelly, one nephew, two nieces, three great nephews and one great niece.
