33-year-old Jesse E. Berger of Fulton has serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Boone County on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened on eastbound Route 22, east of Blackthorne Lane in Boone County.
A vehicle driven by 20-year-old Grace K. Knerr was traveling and noticed a pedestrian, Jesse E. Berger in the roadway and applied the brakes. Knerr was unable to stop in time, and impact happened as the front of the vehicle hit Berger.
An ambulance took Berger to the University Hospital in Columbia.
