The Mexico Area Family YMCA held its all sports camp for third- to fifth-graders last week from July 1-3. In the shortened week due to the Fourth of July at the end of the week, the campers spent three days learning about and participating in various sports. They played baseball on Monday, disc golf on Tuesday, and golf and pickleball on Wednesday.
The YMCA hosts youth sports camps over several months and began doing so this year near the end of June. They will continue until early August. Last week, third- through fifth-graders were involved in an all sports camp.
