The Paris boys had the speed and depth on Friday during their Courtwarming.
The Coyotes won 55-25 against Community R-6 as 10 players scored and finished with 15 steals. The Trojans started losing considerable ground after being on the losing end of a 14-1 run in the first half. Zeek Turner led Paris (6-11) with nine points off the bench, Cayden Poddany had eight points and seven rebounds, Luke Ensor finished with eight points, Brad Skinner had seven points, eight rebounds and three steals, and Tim Woodward finished with seven points off the bench. KaTavyn Wheeler led Community (3-13) with 10 points and three steals, Brett Beamer had six points on two 3-pointers, and Rett Curtis finished with four points, 13 rebounds and two blocks.
Community plays conference foe New Franklin (12-5) at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the first round of the Sturgeon Tournament while Paris kicks off the tournament with a 7:30 p.m. Monday game with conference foe Westran (14-4).
