The Audrain County Courthouse has a new face reporting to work this week.
Derek Bunch is the new human resource/risk management director for Audrain County. Bunch previously worked in human resources for the Army National Guard in Jefferson City from Dec. 2020 through Jan. 2023. He is currently working on obtaining his associates degree and is a 2004 graduate of the Tipton High School. Derek's duties at the Audrain County Courthouse will be to work with new hires and employee benefits and working on incentive programs.
"I'm excited to get to know the Audrain County Community, and especially excited that I am working where I live and don't have to drive to Jefferson City anymore," said Bunch.
Derek is married to Mary Pat Bunch, an R.N. at the Mizzou Urgent Care in Mexico. They are raising three children, 16-year-old Peyton, 14-year-old Keilie, and 10-year-old Aubrie.
